Great Britain and British Europe:  Great Britain features a 1848 10d four margins mint embossed; 1855 4d blue paper, mint, the unusual 1½d rosy mauve [31(53a)], 1857 5/- rare, mint, Plate 1, 1874 5/- Plate 2, mint, £5 orange mint, £1 green mint Sea Horses; Cyprus has a 30pa on 1pi, rare mint, Gibraltar is virtually complete including a £5 mint..

British Africa:  Bechuanaland 27(23c) the rare 2d on 2d green overprint; British Central Africa has a good selection; East Africa and Uganda has values to the 50R; Gold Coast features the £2 used; Kenya Uganda to the £100 (specimen); Madagascar large Consular Mail, 34 lots; Natal to the £5, mint and used; Sierra Leone Postal Fiscal to 2½d on 1½d, later to the £5, Wilberforce – 3 sets!; Togo includes rare second settings; major Zanzibar “2½” overprints and a very rare used 200R.

British Asia:  Bangkok highlight is 20(23) 24¢ mint; India has the rarest perforated 8a 25 (65) with probably the choicest example extent!, 25R mint K Edward VII, Perak shows a $25 mint.

British North America:  British Columbia & Vancouver Island features 3 (11) the “key” 5¢ rose imperf, mint, V.G. Greene Foundation cert; Newfoundland has a #2 used and a#7 mint; Canada has a range of choice classics, Jubilees, 50¢ violet “jumbo”, K Edward VII, etc.

British Oceania:  Cook Islands has a few rarities; Niue has a large block; New Britain up to the 3/- on 3M, mint; New Zealand really shines with many classics and Officials – 80+ lots; North West Pacific Islands features rare large blocks and key values plus overprint errors.
