Envelope of unknown origin 'Via Natal' to England, with imperforate 6d Celliers deep blue with indistinct cancellation, overlapped by Natal 1874 6d Bright Reddish Violet horizontal pair, each cancelled '1' in circle of bars and with 'G.P.O Natal' '18 July' alongside. 'London Paid' '23 August' in lower left corner. The cover is probably from Pilgrim's Rest from where other similarly franked letters from this correspondence were sent.
