Revenues 1931: Pictorial Sets of seven (2) from 3 d. - 20 s. values, in horizontal pairs overprinted in black or red, the first with INKOMSTE / REVENUE, the second set of seven pairs overprinted PENALTY / BOETE with unusual marginal pair of the 20 s. value with "Double Overprint" variety, all ex the Brabury Wilkinson achive and ungummed. 1897 (March 1): Egypt overprinted, the set of eight values complete, fresh colours and fine appearance but for 10 pi. with rounded corner, all overprinted by italic "Specimen" applied by the British South Africa Company upon receipt from the UPU. Rare.

1897 (March 1): Egypt 1 m. brown overprinted, First Setting, an unused block of thirty from the upper left pane and showing all six types of the overprint (positions 6-10 / 56-60); fresh and very fine, large part or mostly unmounted og. Scarce.

1897: 2 m. green, a horizontal strip of five overlapping a single 5 pi. slate and a further 2 m. green on reverse, all used on 1897 registered cover to the War Office in Cairo all tied by bold "HALFA" bilingual datestamps (2 Nov) in black. with information strike below and framed "Egypte / R" registration cachet at left. 1897 (March 1): Egypt overprinted 2 m. green, two vertical strips of three unused (each from the First Setting), each showing top stamp with overprint misplaced diagonally, most probably from the same sheet, large part og. but with small imperfections the gum not affecting the appearance. Scarce.

1897: 5 m. rose-carmine (16 examples incl a block of four and a strip of six), 2 pi. orange-brown (16, incl. two blocks of four) and 5 pi. slate (8) all used on registered/AR cover to Surgeon Lt. Colonel Slogett at the Military Hospital in Alexandria, all tied by crisp strikes of the bilingual "WADI-HALFA" cds in black (15.IX.97). A rare and fine cover.

1897 (March 1): Egypt 10 pi. mauve overprinted, a used block of twenty-four (4 x 6) corner marginal from the lower right hand corner of the pane and thus showing the full Setting of the overprint, Control "1" in margin at right, neatly cancelled by six strikes of the "Wadi Halfa" ciruclar datestamp (30 Sept 1897) in black.
