Recess from Perkins Bacon plates 1860/64: 2 d. pale orange, rouletted 7½ to 14, wmk. Swan sideways, an unused example with clear roulettes (circa 12) on all four sides with a doubled row of horizontal roulettes at base, showing portion of adjoining stamp at left, unused without gum. A superb well centred example of a rare stamp. Cert. Ceremuga (2013) Gi = £ 850.rn

Recess by Perkins Bacon 1861: 6 d. purple-brown, intermediate perf. 14-16, wmk. Swan sideways, an unused example of fine centering and perforations for the issue, of good strong colour, regummed: unused without gum. A rare stamp. Cert. Ceremuga (2023) Gi = £ 1'100.

Recess by Perkins Bacon 1861: 1 s. yellow-green, clean cut perf. 14-16, variety "wmk. Swan upright and inverted", an unused example centred to slightly to right, good fresh colour and perforations, unused without gum. A very rare stamp Gi = £ 1'400.

Recess by De La Rue from Perkins Bacon plates 1864/79: 4 d. carmine, perf. 12½, wmk. Crown CC, an unused example, variety "Doubly Printed", of vibrant fresh colour, unused without gum. Superb appearance and of great rarity. Cert. BPA (1989) Gi = £ 30'000.

1885c.: Essay for proposed 1 d. value, stamp size imperforate on thick card paper, printed in pale red-brown with Swan vignette and legend "W. AUSTRALIA" at top and "ON PENNY" at base. Slight crease and cracking at base but most attractive and rare.

Surcharged by Government printer 1885 (May): "1d." in green on 3 d. cinnamon, wmk. Crown CC sideways, perf. 14, an unused block of four from the fifth and sixth horizontal rows, upper stamp with "Thick 1" and lower stamps with "Thin 1 with straight top", fresh and fine, large part og. Very scarce in this shade Gi = £ 900+

Typographed at Commonwealth Stamp Printing Works 1905/12: 2 d. yellow, wmk. Crown over double-lined A sideways, line perf. 11, an unused block of eighteen (6 x 3), marginal from right of sheet, third and fourth rows in the block with "Double Perforations" vertically, fresh and very fine, large part or unmounted og. A splendid multiple Gi = £ 900+.

1850: 2 d. greyish blue, Plate 1 (positions 16-17-18), a used horizontal strip of three with large to huge margins all round, cancelled by "48" barred numeral obliterators of Tarcutta in black. Tiny nick and thin above first stamp and scissor cut outside the design at top right but a most attractive and scarce multiple Gi = £ 900.rnProvenance: Collection George Ginger, Robson Lowe, London, 5-6 Dec 1945, lot 151.

1851 (Jan) 2 d. ultramarine, Plate IV, on hard greyish paper, a used horizontal pair (positions 19-20) with large margins all round, showing vertical frame line at left and horizontal frame line at base, position 20 showing "Fan with 6 Segments", superbly cancelled by "44" numeral obliterator of Yass in black; leaving the variety clear. Most attractive Gi = £ 725+.
