1853-1987 colln in 2 albums, mint & used, from earlies incl 1862-64 Don Luis 100r pair on piece with VERVIERS/COELN TPO (faulty), 1866-67 curved label to 120r, 1870-76 perf, 240r, 1882 500r, 1894 Henry the Navigator set, later with min. sheets, blocks, etc, fair to fine. High cat value

1865-1884 a very pleasing offering of classics, used on stock leaf with sets complete for all values in nice condition with 4 margin imperf copies. We note 1855- 56 King Pedro imperf to 100r, the scarce 5r red-brown has a striking Lisbon 1 cancel but thought to be a forgery. Guinea 1881-1968 mainly mint colln on leaves with a few used, with a marvellous first page of Crowns, which catalogues over £20,000, 1885 40r MOCAMBIQUE error in a complete sheet, then many surchs and overprints of the 1900s, mint sets of the 1940s plus mini sheets and back of the book. Toning affects some stamps, condition is mixed (see photos)
