Gerhard Hirsch Nachfolger will start its auction week with objects from Pre-Columbian America which total of 265 lots.

First on the auction will be the collection of Mexican items from A. and B. Schirmer (lot numbers 1-18). The figures of this collection are, both in their sizes and quality, truly impressive pieces of art.

The following collection is from archeologist and ethnologist Ferdinand Anton (1929-2003), who wrote more than 30 internationally renowned works on pre-Columbian art, starting in 1954. His Collection totals to 125 Objects (Lot numbers 19-144) from almost every Central and South American culture.
