Zinc alloy (Kriegsmetall) cross pattée alisée on laterally-pierced ball suspension; the face with a circular central medallion bearing the initials ‘FJ’ (for Emperor Franz Joseph I, 1848-1916) encircled by a ring bearing the inscription ‘VIRIBUS UNITIS’.
