Rolls-Royce of America 1931 Letterhead, Relating to Military Aviation Work. Rolls-Royce of America, Inc. Office of the Chairman H. J. Fuller, signed by same dated June 29, 1931. Letter discusses uses of” stainless steel being extremely interesting and holds great promise.” Letter also continues to outline the fact that while Rolls-Royce of America, Inc. “is in the frame of mind to consider disposing of the Aircraft Division…producing parts for the Navy Department.” They would be willing to work with other parties to aid in continuing the development of new technologies.
