A lot of Roman and Byzantine Gold Coins. Consists of: Augustus gold aureus; 2 different Late Roman gold solidii; 4 different Byzantine gold solidii; 2 different Byzantine gold semissis and 1 Byzantine gold tremissis. The Roman gold is damaged and of lower grade while the Byzantine grades Fine and better. A worthwhile lot that should be examined prior to bidding.
