Pre-Long Beach Auction #84

1846 N-3 R2 Repunched 1 EF40. Glossy chocolate brown and steel. There is some dirt in protected areas but no roughness. The only notable marks are a light diagonal nick in the field right of the inner curl and a tiny rim bruise at the first S in STATES. LDS, die state f, with a rim cud over TATES-OF. The rim cud breaks are clear but the repunching on the 4 is faint. CC#8 of 12 known in the Grellman census.
