Cap: WWII Army Afrika Korps Tropical Enlisted Ranks side cap post 1942, khaki colour woven eagle & national emblem, 2 steel eyelets, red cotton lining h/s size 56 & 2590/0026/43 & R.Btr-Nr. 0/0268/5044 small hole in fabric on top o/w GC with little overall wear. These caps were unpopular with troops as they offered no protection from the sun & were dumped in favour of the pith helmet & M41 cap.
