Edged Weapons: Third Reich period Fireman's Dress/ceremonial side Axe. Deluxe pattern with fully etched head. The entire head decorated with a fireman with ladder and oak leaf design. All nickel plated fittings including suspension rings on either side. The metal side plates on the black lacquered wood helve fitted with a fire police national wreathed eagle and nickel finished metal kugel finial. Unmarked, as is the norm for these. Very nice example.
