1946 use of £1 brown Palestine Postal Order, with 'Er Ramle 6 AP 46' issue cds & 'Port Said 11 AP 46' (Egypt) cashing office cds, reverse with Egypt revenues 1m pr fee for cashing outside of Palestine & with perfin. Superb fresh EF. Very rare & interesting for specialist as postal orders were also used as currency due to shortages of coins & banknotes in the immediate post WWII period. (P)
