NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES: AR ducaton, "767S", West Friesland silver rider (zilveren rijder) contemporary imitation with barbarous date and legends but struck in good silver with excellent die work likely produced in the East Indies, VF. The abbreviation BELG (for Belgium) has been written as BEL8R on this piece, as though the engraver confused the ducation with the eight reales of Spanish America! Photo size reduced.
