KORINTH (numeral cancellation "5"), clear strike on 1864 domestic letter, bearing a 20 Lepta from right hand sheet margin (12 mm) and showing a vertical print line, tiny cut top left otherwise a beauty!

PATRAS, 1867/1872, two letters to Triest, Austria bearing 60 L. (40+20) and 55 L. (40+10+5), both showing clear "9" numeral cancellations, margins clear to large to just shaved or cut into in places but generally fresh and fine. An attractive "pair" to the same adressee.

PATRAS, 1869, two letters from Triest, Austria showing 140 L. (80+40+20) and 100 L. (20 + 2x 40 L.) rates respectively. The 140 L. franking with mostly cut into margins and horizontal filing fold, the adhesives of the latter one with full to large margins, fine to very fine.

KIATON (numeral cancellation "119"), a beautiful 1886 domestic letter bearing 5 L. x4 (strip of three plus single), the strip being barely touched at left stamp otherwise clear to large margins, very fresh and fine, plus a 20 L. single franking on 1870 domestic letter (side flaps partly missing).

NAUPLION, 1862, 1 Lepta Paris printing (Mi.Nr. 1) with clear to large margins tied to newspaper by dotted numeral "15" with town cancellation alongside. This newspaper (dated Jan 1, 1862) is accompanied by another copy of the year before, "un-stamped" as postage stamps came in use only in October 1861. A beautiful item for a start of Greek Hermes heads!

NAUPLION (numeral cancellation "15"), 1870 cover to Marseille bearing 5 L. horiz. pair + 20 + 40 L., 40 Lepta cut into at top, all other adhesives with good to large margins all around, some filing fold not affecting stamps, attractive three-colour-franking.

KRANISION (numeral cancellation "16"), 1869 cover to Triest bearing 5+10+40 L., all cut into in places, envelope a bit stained but adhesives in fresh colours and neatly tied by "16" dotted numeral cancellation.

GITHEON (numeral cancellation "33"), 1861 cover to Athens bearing a full margin 20 L. Paris printing tied to cover by "33" dotted numeral and showing double ring GITHEON 20 OKT 61 alongside, this being only 19 days after the first Greek stamps were issued. Very fine!

KARPENISION, 1861, 13 OKT, early usage of the 20 L. Paris printing with large margins around tied by "44" dotted numeral and showing a clear strike of the town cancellation alongside. Envelope a bit creased clear off adhesive, o/w very fine

MESOLONGION, 1869 cover to Triest bearing 5+10+20 L. (x2), mostly clear to large margins, tied by dottednumeral "49", very fine!
