Israel. George Gershwin, State Gold Medal, 1999. 17 grams. 585 fine. 30 mm. Reverse shows a piano and the inscription "Fascination." Bust Gershwin did not write the song "Fascination" --he did write "Fascinating Rhythm."
Another notable composition of Gershwin written in 1936 and made a gift of the song to the Universary of California, at Los Angeles, "Strike up the Band for UCLA." Estimated Value $325 - 350
