A popular Frontier & Deviercy issue, "Handsome Head" surrounded by 9 stars, the fraction displays no center bar. A well struck and fully detailed Period One half dollar. Deep golden-brown surfaces with hints of blue under a strong light. Pop 38; 8 finer, 7 in 64, 1 in 66. (PCGS # 10425) .
