Reverse, tortoise INDEPENDENCE 1976 and 1000 RUPEES below. Beautiful, unrecorded off-strike Proof or Pattern coin which weighs around 8 grams - approximately half the weight of the regular gold issue. Maybe 2 or 3 pieces known, and this is probably the finest example. NGC graded Proof 66 Red Ultra Cameo. Estimated Value $200 - 250
