1949 (Oct 25) Canton to Hong Kong Silver Yuan cover,f.w. Domestic Ordinary Unit stamp x 1, tied by Canton cds. Canton was liberated on Oct 14 but some post offices still selling Unit stamps as 5 Silver Yuan or 100 RMB, matching the domestic ordinary postage or to Macau/ Hong Kong postage. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan.

Szechuan Jiangbei District Court official cover,this Chungking local cover was sent on 1949 (Nov 29), stranded in the post office during the day of liberation: the (Dec 1) post mark indicates that it was handled on the day after liberation and was eventually delivered to Shapingpa (Dec 2). The cover witnessed the last Day of Nationalist rule in Chungking.

四川江北地方法院公文本地封，此信於1949年11月29日寄出，解放當天滯留在重慶，12月1日才處理，12月2日才到沙坪壩。...

1949 (Nov 5) Canton to Taipei Silver Yuan cover, arrived on 1950 (Nov 30),f.w. Kwangtung 15c x 1, matching domestic airmail postage, tied by Canton cds., with Taipei arrival cds. on reverse. Canton was liberated on 1949 (Oct 14). This is the last post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan and is the cover took longest time (391 days) to Taiwan. Hard to check what happened to this cover. We can only assume that it was mislaid in Canton post...

Hehsi was liberated on Dec 6. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan.

1949年12月6日雲南河西寄昆明銀圓封，背面貼東川銀圓5分票4枚，合20分銀圓，符合當時國內掛號郵資，銷雲南河西日戳，旁蓋昆明到達戳。河西於12月6日已解放，此乃解放後沿用銀圓票的例子。

1949 (Dec 7) Chinese style cover from West Szechuan Chukentan to Shangahi,f.w. East Szechwan 5c Silver Yuan, matching the domestic postage, tied by West Szechuan Chukentan cds., along with Chungking tranist, on front with Shanghai arrival cds. Chukentan was an Agency Office (Class 2C) - again a proof of the success of the "tri-preservation" policy at the agency level. Chukentan was liberated on Nov 11. 1949 (Dec 14) Kwangtung Wuchingfu to Fukien Shanghang Silver Yuan cover,f.w. Canton Liberation Commemorative set of 5 & Kwangtung Silver Yuan x 2, total value 310 RMB. At the time, the postage for ordinary mail was 300 RMB. It therefore carried 10 RMB excess postage. Wuchingfu was liberated on Nov 24. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan and the only recorded mixed franking of Silver Yuan and Canton Liberation stamps...
