1929, 20 Sen Emporer's Marriage Silver Jubilee commemorative in Margin corner block of 10 (!) pcs with partial imprint at lower margin, alongside w/ additional franking on large size commercial cover (frequent size for commcerial papers such as Bill of Lading) despatched from Yokohama by German AIRSHIP GRAF ZEPPELIN to "The Silk Center Building" New York. Total franking covers the 3,10 Yen postage rate for Airship transport from Tokyo-Los Angeles-Lakehurst to final destination, w/ Messrs Georges Audoyer private forwarder's date stamp on backside Yokohama AUG 21, 1929, red GRAF ZEPPELIN Round-The-World-Flight 1929 TOKIO C.P.O. 21.8.29 and arrival meter cancel LAKEHURST N.J. AUG 29, 1929 in green on reverse side. Some minor rust spots. Very unusual cover and exceptional franking!
