1906, 1 ct Coiled Dragon on reverse side of coloured pictorial card despatched from SHANGHAI LOCAL POST MAY 31 06 alongside with additional stamps of German PO QINDAO June 05, then forwarded to Japan and re-addressed in Japan seventimes, with 7(!) Japanese-domesic forwarding slips, then remailed YOKOHAMA June 26 and through TOKYO July 01, an onward to HOBART (TASMANIA) Sept 28, LYTTELTON (NEW ZEALAND) Oct 08, CHRISTCHURCH Oct 09. Total period of transport 132 days. Finally taxed additional 5 Ct due. The addresse was obviously an Argentian national because the 2nd forwarding slip is addressed to the Argenine consulate in Yokohama, June 14, for investigation. Truly stunning five countries mixed franking: Imperial China, German PO Qindao, Japan, Tasmania, New Zealand!
