1943: Scarce meter mark 20c. (originally Ceylon but removed country's name) used by the British Forces in East Asia durin WWII, on aerogramme to England, with "E.A./27 VII 43/A.P.O. 57" and "E.A./30 VII 43/A.P.O. 58" double-ring datestamps, also boxed "PASSED BY BASE CENSOR/E.A. No. V/03" and circled 'Unit Censor' h/s in violet, and censor strip. A SCARCE METER MARK USED ON AN AUTHENTIC AEROGRAMME.
