Franked for 25 + 5 Piastres with pair of 12½ on 7,50P blue stamps (Yvert n 163) and 30ct revenue stamp surcharged 5P Postal Tax for Lebanese Army used on the first day of issue* (Yvert n 197 - Michel n 1 - SG n T289 - Scott RA1). *It should be remembered that law for a Postal Tax for Lebanese Army was published on 6 June 1945 with effect from 7 June. From this date a 5p/1p20 lilac revenue stamp (Duston n.146) was provisionally used. The technical production times allowed the issue of the definitive 5P/30ct Postal Tax for Lebanese Army stamp on 11 June 1945. B. Longo Photoexpertise. RARE.
