Mail to and from Hume was particularly targeted by rebels.1920 cover to Cork with stamp removed & endorsed 'Passed by Censor I.R.A in m/s, reverse bears further endorsement 'Censored by Irish Republic at Blarney 24.9.20' in m/s, 1920 Nov cover to Headquarters, 6th Division, Cork, obverse bears m/s by hand, 6th Nov 1920, Admiralty Bag, sent thus to avoid I.R.A Raiders, red oval cachet 'C.I.G.S' Chief of the Imperial General Staff.
