Lithographed in the Colony: Fourth Issue 1858 (Oct): Lithographed (1 d.) deep blue on white paper, a used example in a deep indigo shade, with close to large margins, used on 1858 cover from Port of Spain to Bremen endorsed 'pr. W.I. Mail Steamer', tied by "1" numeral obliterator in black. Manuscript charge at left "1/8d." and reverse with double arc 'Trinidad' cds and single ring despatch datestamp (1 / Oct 25) and London transit in red (Nov 30); charged '56' in faded red crayon manuscript.
