1851/52: Laureated 1 d. carmine on thick yellowish paper, a used horizontal pair, corner marginal from lower right of sheet, positions 49-50, with good to large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at left; cancelled by "18" numeral obliterator of Mudgee. Horizontal bend does not detract from the exceptional appearance of a most attractive pair. Cert.
