Sultan Khalifa bin Harub Pictorial Issue 1913: De La Rue Essay for the Dhow 200 r. value, imperforate and inset in card (91 x 85 mm.), the embellished frame and vignette engraved in deep brown and green, the background hand-painted in pale sepia-brown. The card marked "J" at top left and dated "Oct 3rd. 12" in manuscript. Sent to the Under Secretary of State at the Foreign Office and approved on Nov 1, 1912. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 6637. Exquisite and unique.
