1d. black, plate 1a, horizontal strip of four, PD-PG, showing moderate plate wear, chiefly good margins all around, close in places at foot, multiple light brownish-red Maltese Cross cancellations, PD with light vertical bend, PE with almost imperceptible thin in upper margin mentioned for strict accuracy, neither detracting from the visual appeal of this rare and delightful multiple.
