Selection of five covers, neatly presented upon album pages, all with mixed frankings that include at least one 1847/54 embossed issue. Includes an 1854 inland registered cover franked with 1 d. red imperforate and 6 d. dull lilac embossed (cut into and filing crease) sent from Stamford to Macclesfield. Also, cover franked with 2 d. blue imperforate and 6 d. embossed, as well as two covers with cut to shape 1 s. green embossed combined with 4 d. carmine and 1 d. red penny star, respectively. Similarly, a 6 d. embossed with the same combination (singles). Condition is mixed but scarce to rare examples (5).
