1902/10: Study of the transition from Queen Victoria to King Edward VII stamps on cover, set-out upon twenty album pages, comprising twenty-four examples, with a variety of mixed-franking combinations of Queen Victoria and Edward VII. Almost all, with three exceptions, are to overseas destinations, including a few registered. Numerous are scarce to rare, of which three covers are unique, eight are fewer than five recorded and three with less than ten examples known. Noted an attractive 1902 registered cover franked with an Jubilee 1887 6 d. combined with 1902 1 d. scarlet; also amongst others a Jubilee 10 d. used in conjunction with EVII issues on a registered stationery envelope sent two weeks before the issue of the 10 d. replacement. A mainly fine assembly and rare (24).
