1889: ½ d. brown, postal card, used example, from London to Grantham, dated 8 September 1893, cancelled by the rare London International Trial Machine cancel in black.  There is a puncture/impact damage centrally well clear of stamp/postmark and which does not detract. Apparent tone spots top. Otherwise fine (H&B CS3). A fine strike of this rare cancel, only in use for 23 day between 23 August and 14 September 1893.
