1840: Set of the four Mulready caricature, 1 d. black & 2 d. blue (Gi ME1/ME4), an example of a letter sheets and envelope for each value, unused. Some imperfections and paper adhesion to reverse from mounting and the 2 d. letter sheet the side flaps have been reduced slighty at base and paper adhesion along bottom flap. The 2 d. envelope has a horizontal filing fold along the lower portion. The 1 d. Mulready's are lightly toned the envelope more so. Overall a good group Gi = £ 1'975.
