Crimean War 1855: Great Britain 1 d. red-brown, Die II, wmk. Small Crown, perf. 14, plate 196, a horizontal strip of three used on 1855 cover to Reading tied by "O❊O" obliterators in black. Reverse with "PST OFFICE / BRITISH ARMY" datestamp with reversed code C in blue (Aug 9) and London and Reading cds's (Aug 20). Third stamp with trimmed perfs. at top and at right, top flap missing and edge wear to envelope but scarce.
