Overprinted on Transvaal in Pretoria 1889/90: Transvaal 1 d. carmine, perf. 12½ x 12, ½ d. grey, a sheet marginal example with "Swazieland" overprint misplaced, 2 d. olive-bistre and 1892 ½ d. grey, perf. 12½, overprinted in carmine, all used on slightly aged "Duiven - Van Gorcum" cover to Assen, Holland tied by "Bremersdorp" squared circle datestamps (April 2) in black. Reverse with Johannesburg transit (April 6), Cape Town cds and Assen arrival (May 1). Correctly rated, a scarce cover.
