1860 (August 18): Cover to Amsterdam, franked with 1858 1 gr. rose carmine (Pl. II), 10 gr. light carmine pink (Pl. II) and 20 gr. carmine Postal Forgery, chiefly good to large margins, cancelled with boxed "Annullato", backstamped Marseille à Paris (Aug 21), Amsterdam (Aug 23), light creasing in places, trivial fault at lower right, a remarkable and extremely rare franking. Signed Friedl and Colla. Cert. (1998).
