Second French Occupation 1807-1809/1814 1812 (Oct 21): Entire letter from Corfu to Paxo struck on despatch with fine "POSTA SETTINSULARE / CORFU" handstamp in blue-green, reverse with rare straight line "PAXO" handstamp in red of arrival alongside double circle "Commissaire Imperiale a Corfou" cachet with Imperial Eagle in vignette; this last believed unique.
