Greek Possession 1871/72: Covers (2) both fully paid at 100 lepta rates from Zakynthos (Zante) to Taganrog, Russia endorsed "via Vienna"; 1871 cover with Greece 20 l. blue and 40 l. mauve on blued (2) tied "111" lozenge in black with Viennese handstamp UNZUREICHEND / FRANKIRT and deleted by "FRANCO" in black and in crayon; with Russian "Frankervano" accepting payment was correct; and matching 1872 cover also from Zakynthos with 20 l. blue and 40 l. salmon on greenish (2) noted as prepaid. Faults as to be expected but a charming pairing.
