Greek Post Office in Smirna 1862/67: Large Hermes 80 l. carmine on pale rose, a single example with clear to fine margins all round, used on 1865 cover to Piraeus tied by "96" dotted lozenge in black. "SMYRNA / (TOYPKIA)" despatch cds in black (March 13) at right. A few small imperfections but a scarce cover sent at double rate (60 lepta maritime rate and 20 lepta inland).
