Auction # 2424 ARGENTINA: Special July auction

RARE CANCEL: Undated folded cover sent to Buenos Aires by stagecoach mail BLANCO Y CÍA, with rating mark "8" (cents, charged by the company) and the corresponding postage of 5c. (Rivadavia 4th printing GJ.25) cancelled "ESTAFETA AMBULANTE DEL F.C. DEL S." in black circle (it was normaly applied in blue), extremely rare. On back it bears the manuscript inscription "Sale el 30, Piedras 81", which was how the company indicated to the addressee that they could send a reply by the same medium. Very fine quality, with Alberto Solari certificate (corresponding to the railway cancel alone)
