16 JU 1948 reg. comm cv ex TIBERIAS on Astoria hotel stationary to TLV, franked 25m per period rate using 2x 10m + 5m rouletted stamps tied by 2 strikes of reintroduced Mandate local pmk + 2 on back; b/s next day arr. + 'National Loan' cachet applied by TLV sorting office on local reg. mail; opened roughly at top, repaired (left flap tip missing). Locale received Israeli trilingual cancel on 1 July. Very fine.
