1922-27 KGV £50 black & brown, with SPECIMEN violet h/s local opt type K4 (26 x 3mm), which was used for presentation sets (instead of the black DLR type opt used for UPU distribution). VF UN, bottom marginal, nice deep colour. Scott 41D cat US$3000++. SG 103s(var) cat £3250+, plus premium for the rare violet opts (normal cat £60,000). Very rare ultra high value. (P)
