1868 Imperial Journal 1K blue, Newspaper Tax stamp inscribed 'MAGY.KIR.HIRLAP BELYEG' imperf, issued for the Austro-Hungarian Empire Military Border district only (now in Croatia). Superb fresh M, original gum, 4 large margins, nice deep colour. Mi ZIII. SG J3. Sc PR2B cat US$50,000. Great classic rarity of the world with only less than a dozen recorded of which most are used, & only several mint examples being in existence.
