No place, no date, [ca.1865?] Broadside, 17x23”. Minor wear along folds, and edge wear. With several splits. Suitable for framing and a fine piece during the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. A stark memorial broadside made up of an elegiac text in a variety of types surmounted by a woodcut Union Star within a simple monumental form rendered with rules, the whole surrounded by a heavy black border.
