Unique. Bizamqubadh was the original name for Arrijan, the principal town in the third district of the province of Fars on the Tab River which formed the boundary between Fars and the province of Khuzistan. It is likely that this coin will be recorded as the latest known date for the mint of Bizamqubadh. The city became much better known after it was renamed Arrijan under the Abbasids and Buwayhids.
