Greek: c/late C2nd-1st BCE. Etrusco-Latin Terracotta Statuette of Athena/Minerva. Minus head, right arm & partial base. Design evidently modelled after the famous Athena Partheons of Phidias. Now mounted on a wooden base. Red Terracotta with remnants of a slip-glaze finish. 150mm, high by 60mm, at base. Excavated condition. Scarce. (P)
