GREAT MONGOLS: Chingiz Khan, 1206-1227, posthumous, AV dinar (2.93g), Damghan, ND, A-1966, similar to type A-1926.3 of the Ilkhan Abaqa but anonymous, inscribed only qa'an al-'adil al-a'zam, but not the caliph, probably struck late AH650s or 660s, crude EF, RR. This example is about as nice as can be expected for the "milk-bottle cap " style Great Mongol type.
