1866, small envelope with complete contents (referring to the Prussian percussion pin rifle), written by the English envoy to the Frankfurt court, Sir Alexander Malet, with red postmark "FRANKFURT A.M. 23 JUN" with routing mark "Via France" to London, rerouted via Belgium due to the war with transit postmark of Erquelines on face. The original tax stamp "8/10" cancelled and replaced by "6/24" Small opening defect.
