ELSASS" on complete folded cover with France Ceres 25 Centimes with GC "1576" from "FRAIZE 23.MAY.72" to Mühlhausen with horseshoe arrival postmark in perfect condition. From the French point of view, the newly closed postal treaty only came into force on 25 May 1872, so this double franking is correctly franked. Interesting and very late letter with double franking from France, very rare in this form, certificates Hennies (1978) and Krug BPP (2010)
