Folded cover that includes a long 4-page letter, sent from Valparaíso to Mendoza (Argentina) on 30/JUN/1857 franked with 10c., with mute cancel along red datestamp. The text of the letter is fascinating, it is the reply of the sender to a lifelong friend who apparently made a move on his wife: "As for the blonde, my presumed wife, you need to remember that I have fully surrendered to you all my real or imaginary rights, present and future, that I could have over her..." The text is very entertaining and deserves to be read in detail!
