Forerunner Stationery 1890: 10 pf. carmine card, frame type a. (no imprint), used from Kamerun to Dornumersiel, dated 1 January 1890, cancelled by a fine strike of the scarce "KAMERUN / BIAFRAKÜSTE"" circular datestamp in black (Woermann steamer 'Elobey'), with arrival circular datestamp "DORNUMERSIEL" dated 27 January 1890 in a blue-black. Diagonal corner crease top right, not obvious, otherwise fine and scarce (VP21I). The Biafraküste...

Forerunner Stationery 1889: 10 pf. red envelope (147 x 84 mm.) uprated with 1889 10 pf. red and 20 pf. blue, sent registered from Kamerun to Rosenthal, dated 6 May 1892, cancelled by "KAMERUN" circular datestamp in black, with registration label "no.160." alongside. To the reverse an arrival "ROSENTHAL (REUSS)" circular datestamp 14 June 1892 (VU 13A). A fine example.

German Stationery 1897: 10 pf. red 'Crown & Eagle' letter card, uprated with 1880 10 pf. re, used from Kamerun to Lieberose, dated 9 March 1898, cancelled by the circular datestamp "KAMERUN" in black, with an additional strike alongside. To the reverse a "LIEBEROSE" single circle datestamp in black dated 20 April 1898. Moderate soiling. Overall fine.

1899: 5 pf. green postal card, reply part, overprinted "KAMERUN" in black, used from Oppeln, Germany to Kamerun, dated 29 January 1900, cancelled by "OPPELN" circular datestamp in black with an single circle arrival datestamp "KAMERUN" dated 2 March 1900. Card undelivered and returned with an additional "OPPELN" arrival datestamp 29 April 1900 applied to front. Two corner bends and the top irregular being cut from message card. Scarce reply...

1902: Yacht 5 pf. green postal card, used with 1905 5 pf. green, sent from Edea to Hong Kong, China, dated 4 February 1907, cancelled by a circular datestamp "EDEA KAMERUN" in black, with the travelling post office datestamp "SINGAPORE TO HONG KONG" dated 30 march 1907 in black. A fine example to a scarce destination.

1902: Yacht 5 pf. green postal card 'reply part', used  from Chemnitz to Kamerun, dated 20 March 1903, cabcelled by "CHEMNITZ" circular datestamp in black. To the back a "LOME / TOGO" transit postmark dated 18 February 1903. Some soiling and bends to two corners, otherwise a fine and rare reply card sent back to the colony from Germany. Mansfeld expert mark to reverse.

1912: Yacht, 5 pf. green reply card, with dividing line added, watermark DR 9II in diamonds, used from Edea to Münster, dated 20 February 1914, cancelled by a "EDEA" circular datestamp in black. Some tone spots and soiling to the edges, otherwise fine. Scarce. Very difficult to locate in used condition. Comes on an album page with two unused examples, one with wmk. DR 9II and the other with DR I. Neatly presented upon an album page (P17A)....

British Occupation 1915: 5 pf. green, postal card, overprinted "C.E.F" and surcharged "½d" in black, watermark DR 1. in diamonds, used sent to France, dated 3 September 1915, carried by the ship "AFRIQUE" with the straight line mark in black and cancelled by the ship's datestamp "MATADI A BORDEAUX / L.L.No 1". A fine example (P1). Very scarce; one of two recorded examples.

British Occupation 1915: 5+5 pf. green, reply postal card (reply part attached unused), overprinted "C.E.F" and surcharged "½d" in black, variety 'Short "1" in fraction' (in both cases), watermark DR 1., used from Duala to Birmingham, England dated 26 October 1915, endorsed "On Active Service / no stamps available", cancelled by "DUALA (KAMERUN)" circular datestamp in black. British Occupation 1915: 10 pf. carmine, postal card, overprinted "C.E.F" and surcharged "1d" in black, used Duala to Kingston, Ireland, dated 28 July 1915, endorsed "On Active Service /Cameroon Exp. Force.", cancelled by "DUALA / KAMERUN" bridge type postmark in black. Redirected to Clonaslee, Queens County. Soiled and central fold. A scarce example (P2). One of two recorded. Cert. RPSL (2009).

British Cameroon 1927: Nigeria 2 d. brown, postal stationery envelope, used with a 1921 2 d. chestnut, from Buea to Berlin, Germany, dated 21 October 1930, cancelled by the "BUEA / UNDER BRITISH MANDATE" skeleton in black (earliest recorded date for this postmark). To the back a "VICTORIA NIGERIA" double circle datestamp 2 June 1930. A fine example. The additional franking made this 1d too much as the postage rate for foreign letters was 3d...

French Occupation 1915: 5 pf. green and 10 pf. carmine postal cards, both used from Duala to Santa Isabel, Fernando Poo (Gulf of Guinea), franked with an additional French Cameroun Occupation 5 c., being the postage rate for postcards with up to five words, cancelled by a "DUALA / KAMERUN" postmark in black (including the stationery imprint) dated 20 April 1917. To the back, arrival datestamps "SANTA ISABEL / FERNANDO POO" dated 22 April 1917...
